ERNiFeCr-2 is a high-strength, corrosion-resistant nickel-iron-chromium alloy welding wire used for welding Inconel 718 and similar materials. It contains significant amounts of niobium (columbium), molybdenum, and titanium, which promote precipitation hardening and provide excellent tensile, fatigue, creep, and rupture strength.
This filler metal is ideal for demanding aerospace, power generation, and cryogenic applications that require mechanical strength at elevated temperatures. It is suited for both TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding processes and produces welds with good ductility, excellent strength, and resistance to cracking.
Excellent high-temperature strength, fatigue resistance, and stress rupture properties
Precipitation-hardenable alloy with niobium and titanium for enhanced mechanical performance
Outstanding resistance to corrosion, oxidation, and heat scaling
Designed for welding Inconel 718 and similar age-hardenable nickel alloys
Suitable for aerospace, turbine, cryogenic, and nuclear components
Smooth arc, minimal spatter, and crack-resistant welds
Conforms to AWS A5.14 ERNiFeCr-2 and UNS N07718 standards
